Why does God allow suffering?

This is probably one of the most asked questions in the world and, especially during the current pandemic, it continues to be asked. In this video Pastor Leyton Erickson from Ebeneezer Baptist Church (Saskatoon, SK) interviews Dr. Jeromey Martini, president of Horizon College Seminary. Together, they look at what the Bible says about this difficult topic, and bring Godly, positive insight.

Thanks to Pastor Erickson and Dr. Martini as they have allowed us to share this interview with you. I trust it will encourage you. I believe that in this time of uncertainty in the world we can indeed grow and mature in our trust of the Lord.

Click Here for the Interview  or go to www.trcyxe.ca to access the YouTube link. Remember, you can also catch past services at the website under Audio/Video menu.

The video is approximately 26 minutes long. Would you email us back your thoughts, questions or comments? …we would love to hear from you!

This weekend we will be on the theme of Joy, so please be reading Chapter 22 of Believe in preparation for the service.

If you know someone who does not have the Believe book, we would like to get that to them… please contact us or have them do so. And again, we are happy to provide DVD’s if you know someone who cannot access the online services.

Be blessed and encouraged today… forgive someone, encourage someone, love someone 🙂 and may all the “Mays” of Psalm 20 be yours today as you enjoy the Father’s love!

Psalm 20

1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.
3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b]
4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.
5 May we shout for joy over your victory
and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.

In HIS service,
