Long Walks, Luke 15, and Love

“Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” ” The most important one,” answered Jesus,”is this: Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, The Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31

Love… can I make myself love more?…better? How can I have more love and give more love? How do I love God, others and myself?

This week we continue the BELIEVE series at Chapter 21 “LOVE”. Please read this chapter as well as Luke 15:11-32 as we look at the long walk of the prodigal son, how he was able to kill love and the love that brought him back to life and can change ours!

Plan to connect with us and invite a family member, friend, or neighbor to go to church with you no matter where they are at!

For this Sunday’s Online Fellowship and Worship Service go to therockchurchsaskatoon.online.church

If you are not yet a part of a Life Group we would love to have you join us! These are a great way to be in connection with and get to know others in TRC as you grow in relationship with Jesus. Life Groups are happening by Zoom meetings and also have people connecting by phone. Please let Pastor Dwayne know at dwayne@trcyxe.ca.

Emotionally Healthy Discipleship course has begun. If you are interested please let Leah know. EHD has helped many people at TRC in their walks with Jesus, others and themselves. Leah and I were deeply changed as Holy Spirit used this material to help transform our lives and recommend everyone take the course. For more information on what it is about, you can contact Leah at leah@trcyxe.ca.

Or call the church at 306-975-7197.

God loves you and we love you! Would you text or call someone today and connect? Please don’t hesitate to contact us at the church if there is anything you need or we can do.

May you be blessed and encouraged this weekend!
